About Rag Customs

At Rag Customs, we are more than just 4WD fabricators — we’re a full-service laser cutting provider specialising in plate cutting, tubular, and RHS work. Based in Cardiff, NSW, our in-house CNC fiber laser and press-brake capabilities allow us to deliver everything from precision one-off jobs to full-scale production runs, with no minimum quantities required.

Alongside our custom cutting services, we design and build high-quality 4WD accessories including bullbars, sliders, and fabrication parts. Our focus is always on strength, reliability, and local manufacturing, ensuring every product and service is built to handle real-world demands.

Our Story

Rag Customs started as a personal project. Without the funds to build my first 4WD the way I wanted, I began fabricating my own parts on weekends. Before long, friends and family were asking for custom solutions, and the word quickly spread.

Within a year, I had built a small shed on private property and was working late nights and weekends after my full-time job to keep up with demand. Eventually, the workload grew too big to ignore. I took the gamble — quit my job, invested in a CNC plasma table, and spent the next 18 months working full-time from that shed, determined to prove the business could stand on its own.

Today, Rag Customs operates from a workshop in Cardiff, NSW, where we have invested in a CNC fiber laser cutter for plate, tube, and RHS as well as a CNC press brake to keep every process in-house. This setup allows us to deliver everything from one-off parts to full production runs, with no minimum quantities required.

From the start, our goal has been simple: to provide affordable, high-quality parts with the best lead times we can offer. What began as a necessity has grown into a business dedicated to giving fellow 4WD enthusiasts and fabricators the reliable gear they need to get the job done right.
